As we enter the final month of 2021, I want to focus on transformations. What transformations do you want to see happen over the next year? I have strategically chosen individuals that have transformed their lives, that are an inspiration to me and can be for you! These are people who I have watched go through the process, which is not always easy, and be successful in life.
I have known Jana for many years through our shared love for horses. I am amazed by her physical transformation. So much, in fact, that I have started my own journey with the nutrition products that have changed her life. She credits the pandemic and being isolated, along with blunt truth from a trusted friend, for her journey into better nutrition and a new way of living. Her trusted friend asked her what had happened? Jana had put on an unhealthy amount of weight and it was beginning to show in just more than her clothes. You see Jana competes in barrel racing. Barrel racing is all about speed. It is easier for your horse to run faster with a rider who weighs less. For Jana, it was not just an issue of weight, but she also recognized she was out of shape and couldn’t ride horses like she used to. Her stamina was at an all-time low. This friend introduced her to Isagenix. When she began her journey, she had the goal to lose 20 pounds so she could be competitive again. She knew she wanted to improve her health, not just be skinny. She thought the system was expensive but changed her mind set to think of it as an investment in her health.
Jana began her journey on August 20th, 2020. As of today, she has lost 50 pounds and kept it off. At first the changes were small, but she noticed them within the first month. Her clothes began to fit differently. She was not and is not obsessed with the scale. She noticed her body was becoming more toned and defined. She is amazed that she now has abs that you can see! Her biggest struggle through this process has been learning how to ride her horses and gain/keep her balance with her new slimmer body. Since I have begun using the same system, I asked her if it was difficult to adjust to one meal a day and the two protein shakes, instead of having three meals a day. She explained that her drive to succeed was bigger than any inconvenience or struggle she faced. She told herself this was going to work and stuck to the plan, because of the monetary investment. Failure was not an option for Jana!
In addition to the nutrition system, Jana began with just walking a mile over her lunch break and has graduated to run or walk 4 plus miles now, still over her lunch break. Running helps Jana with mental clarity. She listens to podcast while she runs/walks, they are usually inspirational. This time is sacred to her as part of her self-care and is non-negotiable. Because she decided to make the change, Jana is not only a slimmer, fitter version of herself, but she has also noticed improved skin texture and clarity, as well as improved digestion and improved stamina to finish her daily tasks which include riding several horses in the evening after she gets home from work. Jana has words of encouragement for you if you are thinking about making a change: “Make the change today. Don’t wait until tomorrow. Find what works for you and put in 100% effort to get 100% results.”
